ABOUT

John has driven sprint cars for approximately two decades, wracking up many wins and championships throughout the country.

The El Paso, Texas, resident has been a regular competitor with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour for many years with 2019 being his first time running with the series full time. John made the most of it by earning the Rookie of the Year Award after finishing sixth in the championship standings thanks to one win, 13 top fives – tied for the third most – and 20 top 10s – tied for the fifth most – in 29 features.

John has also been one of the top 305ci winged sprint car drivers, winning many races throughout his home state of Texas and the Midwest. He earned three consecutive feature victories to kick off the 2020 summer.

John entered the 2020 season with at least one feature victory during eight straight seasons and multiple wins in six of those years.
