Inside Line Promotions – BELGRADE, Mont. (July 17, 2019) – Scott Bogucki and his SawBlade.com sponsored team are working to rebound following a vicious crash at Gallatin Speedway last Friday.
Bogucki’s night at the ASCS National Tour’s Grizzly Nationals started with a second-place run in his heat race. That advanced him into the feature redraw and he pulled the No. 5 to roll off fifth for the main event. Bogucki was battling with another driver for fourth early in the race when contact sent the SawBlade.com backed machine flipping violently over the turn four wall.
“Once again we had great speed, but not the finish to show for it. The part that really sucks is we came into that weekend within 10 points of three guys and now we are fifth in points, 50 plus behind. I’m okay and that’s what’s important. We will get ready for a lot of big races coming up.”
The Saturday portion of the Grizzly Nationals was rained out.
Bogucki will compete this Friday and Saturday at Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Mont. It’s the first time the ASCS National Tour has been at the track since 2015.
“I’ve seen races in Billings when I first came to the states in 2013 with Johnny Herrera. I’m ready to put last weekend behind me and get a good run. We will then head back for a weekly show at Knoxville before the 360 Nationals. I’m pumped for the next couple of weeks.”
