Go behind the scenes with Kaylee Bryson as she attempts to win the 2022 Tulsa Shootout.

On January 15, 2022, Kaylee Bryson made history by becoming the first female to make the A Main at the Chili Bowl. It was a moment that took the racing world by storm, but one that came as no surprise to anyone who knew her.

From the age of 9, Kaylee has been one of the top drivers in the sport. And a staple of both her family shop: Sawyer Chassis, and Port City Raceway – a track known for producing world-class talent, from Christopher Bell to Shane Stewart. Her ability to compete there has earned her a spot on the coveted Toyota Racing development driver roster – a pipeline to NASCAR stardom.

But despite her rise through the ranks, she still spends the New Year doing what she’s always done: trying to win the Tulsa Shootout – a five day marathon of racing with more than 1,500 entries. The Tulsa Shootout, held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is the world’s largest micro sprint race. Many drivers fantasize about winning the Golden Driller. With the number of entries increasing every year, the event will set a new record in 2020 with 1,397 total entries from 608 drivers. Since 2015, the number of entries has surpassed the millennium mark. With such a large fanbase, the Tulsa Shootout is a must-see event for every race fan or driver.

Strap in and ride shotgun as we follow Kaylee’s 2022 attempt to win the biggest indoor race in the world.
