Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (Aug. 23, 2021) – Scott Bogucki is heading to Knoxville Raceway this Saturday to tackle the track’s season finale.
The SawBlade.com sponsored driver is focused on winning races during the remainder of the 2021 season. He enters this week with a trio of victories this year.
“We want to get wins,” he said. “We’ve won three so far and I’d like to get at least five.”
Bogucki scored his first career victory at Knoxville Raceway last year and he has been a contender at the track this year.
“We’ve proven over and over how much speed we have,” he said. “There’s been a couple of the weekly shows we should have won, but we just didn’t put it together. I’d love to get one at Knoxville this year and this is our last chance. Championship night is always a good night with great racers and a great crowd.
“We have to keep doing what we are doing. I have to make sure I qualify good and set us up to start as far front as possible come feature-time.”
Bogucki’s season-best run at the half-mile track was a runner-up result in May. He also recently placed fourth during his 360 Knoxville Nationals preliminary night before finishing a career-best eighth in the finale.
