Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (July 19, 2021) – Scott Bogucki is focused on arguably the busiest stretch of his season.

ASCS Sprint Week arrives this week for the SawBlade.com sponsored driver, who joins the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour during eight races in a 10-day stretch. The action begins this weekend with a trio of shows in Arkansas – Thursday at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Friday at Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville and Saturday at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock.

“I don’t know if it’s excitement or the lack of sleep you’ll get that we’re thinking about,” he joked. “You have to make sure that you keep on top of everything. If you get behind a little bit you’re in trouble.”

Bogucki is optimistic he will produce a successful ASCS Sprint Week and is hopeful the next two weeks will yield good luck following a frustrating weekend in the Midwest.

Bogucki ran into mechanical woes that kept him from finishing his heat race and starting the main event last Friday at U.S. 36 Raceway near Osborn, Mo.

Saturday started out better as Bogucki qualified eighth quickest and advanced from fifth to third place during a heat race at Knoxville Raceway. However, an ill-handling car forced Bogucki to the pits early in the feature.

“We weren’t good with our balance,” he said. “We’ve been so good there all year so I don’t know what was up. We’re going to go back through everything, go through the shocks, to see if there was an obvious reason why we struggled.”
