Inside Line Promotions – MOUND CITY, Mo. (June 30, 2020) – The SawBlade.com backed tractor pulling team owned by David and Janet Esteb made huge gains last weekend during the season opener for the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League.
The team, which competes in the ARP Light Weight Super Stock Tractor division, invaded Old Rodeo Grounds for the Rumble by the Refuge.
“We had a bad spark plug wire on Friday night so we were running on five cylinders,” Janet Esteb said.
David Esteb guided Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition to a pull of 235.21 feet, which was good enough for a 16th-place finish.
The team returned to the facility on Saturday seeking vengeance.
“On Saturday we had the best run we have had in a long time,” Janet Esteb said. “We changed a spark plug wire and took fuel away from a couple of cylinders. Usually it’s not that simple, but it worked.”
David Esteb pulled for 314.55 feet, which placed him seventh overall.
The next Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League event is Aug. 14-15 at 300 Raceway in Farley, Iowa, for the 300 Raceway Farley Nationals.
“We’ll go home and study the computer before the next hook,” Janet Esteb said. “Our next event will be Aug. 14-15 in Farley, Iowa, unless we can find some state hooks to go to before Farley.”
