Inside Line Promotions – HENRY, Ill. (July 17, 2018) – The sponsored Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition tractor owned by David and Janet Esteb kicked off the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions Tour last weekend with mixed results.

On Friday, the Esteb’s headed to Jerseyville, Ill., to compete in the light superstock class against the best running tractors in the country. David Esteb placed 12th out of 16 competitors with a pull of 293.4 feet. The winner, Considered Armed and Dangerous driven by Brian Korth of Newton, Wisconsin, had a pull of 334.59 feet.

“The tractor is getting tuned in better. We just have to keep working hard on it.”

The team then ventured to Henry, Ill., on Saturday.

“David had a really great pass and at about 280 feet he had to touch the left brake and the brake pad sheared off and tore up the caliper so he went out of bounds and was disqualified. But we did get some more data to do some tweaking on the motor.”

Korth was the Saturday winner as well with a pull of 344.04 feet.

There’s not much rest for the Esteb’s, who will be back in action at their home county fair pull on Tuesday in Franklin, Ind., with the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Midwest Region.
