The team scored a second consecutive runner-up finish during an Indiana Pulling League event last Saturday.

After competing in the Heavy Superstock Class the past couple of weeks, the Esteb’s battled in their regular Light Superstock class at the Pulaski County Fair Pull. David Esteb powered his Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition tractor to a pull of 278.93 feet. Matt Rausch and The Terrible Thing tractor took the top prize with a pull of 306.91 feet.

At tractor pulls the driver who pulls the weighted sled – that gets heavier the farther the driver travels down the track – the farthest wins. A pulling track is typically 300-to-320 feet long.

“We changed back to a new cam and we probably needed to up the fuel.”

The Esteb’s will aim for the SawBlade.com backed team’s second win of the season this Saturday during an Indiana Pulling League in Frankfort, Ind.

It will be the final tune-up before the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League begins on July 13 at the Jersey County Fair in Jerseyville, Ill., followed by the Marshall/Putnam County Fair in Henry, Ill., on July 14.
